International Yoga Day!!!

Practicing yoga in our day-to-day life is – a magical experience. And so, on International Yoga Day, I hope my own little Blog encourages at least one person to get on the mat. I know that the first international yoga day was celebrated across the world on 21st June 2014 and was declared by a resolution 69/131 of United Nations. And therefore, we celebrated the Yoga Day at our beautiful campus of AIS Tragad on 21st June 2022.

Anyway, let’s just go with it and let me take this opportunity to wish you again a happy International Yoga Day. The beautiful day started with happy and smiling faces of students in the campus. The students were chatting and were in their yoga dress and mats.

The program started with the brief introduction of Certified Yoga trainer Ms. Nidhi Maru and her team. Trust me; I think that Yoga Day is only celebrated among the youth, older and children only to make them understand the importance of Yoga in their life. But I was wrong; many of our teachers also were the part of International Yoga Day. Hats off to them!!!

One thing I want to make it clear in your mind that Yoga helps the students understand how to maintain harmony between body and mind and it will help us to achieve better mental and physical health.

Coming back to the yoga day, we started with warm up exercises and then performed various sets of Asanas like: Sukhasana, Dhanuurasana, Vakrasana, Kakasana, Bhujung asana and many more. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Ms. Nidhi along with Esha Trivedi, Yug Trivedi, and Gautam Barot for conducting wonderful session of Yoga in the campus.

The students enjoyed the Yoga Session and promised that they will be continuing yoga in their future life and will be growing with a healthy mind.

Happy International Yoga Day once again, wherever in the world you may be practicing (or thinking about practicing).

Namaste!!!
